QA Team Lead, Permanent, Dublin City Centre

Vantage Resources are looking for a QA Test Lead for a permanent position based in the city centre with a software company who are growing rapidly.

This role will see you playing a pivotal role overseeing the structure of the test team and managing the testing lifecycle to ensure a high quality end product. This company is growing rapidly and currently the test area is in a state of change, the successful candidate will be expected to come in and put structure and policies in place to establish a robust testing methodology.

Tasks/Responsibilities

*Execution of test plans with compilation of issues/results log as required
*Co-ordination of test planning and test case input by other team members when workload requires multiple parallel test activity streams
*Provision of estimates for QA work on a project
*Interrogation and verification of test case data on the application database (writing SQL queries against the relational database)
*Feed into status reports with regard to test progress and experience
*Feed into prioritisation of issues and risk based testing decisions
*Assist in other tasks within the team as and when required

Experience Required

*Strong previous Testing experience
*Good SQL skills and general understanding of Relational Databases
*Experience in utilisation in formal testing methods
*Experience in business and application knowledge in insurance or financial systems
*Experience with Mercury Quick Test Pro or other equivalent automated testing tool
*Experience of MS Windows / Windows NT and Microsoft Offices toolset
*Experience in all areas of Software Life Cycle
