Telco Test Engineers/Lead, Contract 6+ months, Dublin

Vantage Resources urgently requires a number of test resources with telecoms experience to work with a large mobile telco provider in Dublin. One role is for a test lead and the other for a test engineer. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of technical projects within the telecoms environment.

The following are mandatory skills

* Good understanding of Testing Life Cycle
* Good understanding of devices testing (includes application testing, bearer testing)
* Good understanding of Radio Network (2G and 3G)
* Should be able to lead the team, resolve their day to day queries
* Should be good in communication skills and stakeholder Management
* Should be involved in Requirements analysis, test planning, test scheduling for the new devices which are being launched to market
* Experience in mobile testing based on Mobile Platforms like Android, BADA, Linux - Java, Palm OS, Symbian S60 and S40, Blackberry, Maemo, Windows 6.1 and 6.5
* Knowledge of 3G, GERAN environment, Nethawks, Radcoms tools for sniffing packets on Air Interface and Rhode & Schwarz CMU200
* Good understanding of signalling messages of air Interface GSM, GPRS and UMTS
* Support testers in fault verification and technical issues
* Devices Sample and SIM Management
* Managing Network test environment (2G/3G) and protocol monitoring tools required for devices testing
